Left Bishop and continued south through San Bernadino towards Palm Desert. There are a lot of windmills outside of San Bernadino along the highway. We are getting closer to Indio and the Desert Trip Concert! We arrived in the afternoon at the Thousand Trails park in Palm Desert. It was hot! A local roadrunner showed up but no wiley coyote. We enjoyed the area and took some trips into Palm Springs to check out the atomic houses and meet up with friends before the concert. Jon and Karen arrived a couple days after we did as did friends Don and Gail. We opened the packages of tickets and activated our wristbands in anticipation of the Friday concert.
